Admissions
The Courtyard admissions
The Courtyard School is a Special Educational Needs provision for pupils with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and/or speech language and communication needs (SLCN).
The school has a maximum cohort of 48 pupils ranging from Year 9 to Year 14.
Places are available for pupils aged 14-19 and can be applied for through your local authority SEN department.
Parents/carers wishing to make an application should consult with the SENCo of their child’s current school and ask for an annual review, where the Courtyard should be named as your chosen provision. This annual review document will then be reviewed by your local authority SEN department.
You may wish to consult your local authority SEN department directly. Please see the Islington SEN Schools page. We consider applications for pupils wishing to join in Key Stage 4 and also in Key Stage 5.
Please consult the Courtyard Admissions Policy for further information regarding places at the school. Also see our policies page.
