The Courtyard Careers Event 2022
As part of our Sixth Form Programme, and in order to give our students an opportunity to make informed decisions regarding their futures, we will be hosting our second ‘CAREERS EVENT’ at The Courtyard on Tuesday 22nd March 2022. The focus will be on Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Supported Internships.
Our commitment is to continue to provide our students with opportunities to raise aspirations, develop employability skills and make informed choices. Therefore, we encourage you to attend this event given the importance of your child’s decision making with Post-16 option choices and career pathways.
We will be having a variety of Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Supported Internship providers on hand to provide excellent, professional information to your child. To name a few, DFN/ Project SEARCH, My AFK, West Lea, GLL, Islington Council, City of Westminster, Mencap, will all be in attendance. We will also have motivational neurodivergent professionals in the morning that will be talking about their career journeys, jobs and will be giving some advice to our students in the morning.
1:15pm - 2.45pm - Pupils and parents in school. Pupils are divided into different groups and rotate around the presentations where each room will have a focus on Apprenticeship, Traineeships, Supported Internships or presentations with regards to career choices.
2.45pm - 3.15pm Pupils and parents will have the opportunity to discuss courses on a 1:1 basis.
The opportunities and options are in the poster attached to this letter.
We hope you will join us for this event and support us in our mission to inspire children to strive for future success and wellbeing.
