Apple Store Digital Learning

A wonderful opportunity was arranged for the Courtyard pupils to visit the Apple Store in Regent's Park and participate is two digital workshops: 'Navigating mazes using Sphero' and 'Tell a character’s story with code using iPad Pro and Sphero.'

Students helped a Sphero robot navigate obstacles using code in the Sphero Edu app on iPad. They explored block-based coding by programming simple movements, changing colours and more. They also set up obstacles and used iPad to program a path for their robot to navigate. This benefited students and also coincides with The Courtyard classroom learning.
Each pupil received a coding certificate to take home.
