The Courtyard results
Whole School GCSE Results 2018-19
As a school, we recognise that our pupils are not necessarily ready to sit their GCSE exams in Y11. As a result, some sit in Y11, Y12, Y13 or Y14. The success of this approach can be seen from the percentage of pupils passing with a Grade 4 or above in this year's exam results:

We also recognise that our pupils may be ready to gain qualifications in GCSE, Functional Skills and BTEC at any stage of their Courtyard journey, therefore we enter them when we feel confident they are ready. Again, the success of this can be seen below:

KS4 Results 2018-19
We are extremely proud of our pupils in Y11 who achieved some of the highest grades in Courtyard history!
The range of qualifications and results can be seen below:
Due to the impairments associated with ASC, it is difficult for Courtyard pupils to sit five or more GCSEs and for them to achieve Grades A*- C / 9-4.
Despite this, a high proportion of our pupils managed to attain 5 or more GCSEs including English and Maths A*-G / Grade 9-1 or equivalents, as shown below:
100% of our Year 11 pupils are remaining at the Courtyard for their KS5 studies.
