On 18.01.2024, we had the pleasure of organizing a dynamic careers event at London Metropolitan University, and it was truly a fantastic experience for everyone involved!

Our young and talented individuals had the incredible opportunity to engage with and learn from inspiring presentations by esteemed supported internship providers such as Westminster City Council, Mencap, National Star Steps into Work, and Ellingham Employment Services. Additionally, representatives from leading colleges, including BSix College and City & Islington College, shared valuable insights.

Special thanks to London Met University Ambassadors and the Dyslexia and Disability Support Team for their informative sessions. A heartfelt shoutout to Billy Chandler, our beloved former student and LNSEN London Neurodiversity SEND Employer Network Autism Champion Ambassador, for his inspirational presentation about his career journey.

The positive vibes were palpable throughout the event, thanks to the outstanding venue (huge thanks to Renzo Veschini for ensuring its success).

The future is undeniably bright for our young people! It was crucial for them to understand that, regardless of the path they choose after leaving The Courtyard, be it education, training, or work-related, unwavering support awaits them. They were reassured that incredible individuals will guide them along the way towards achieving their goals, the support will be there and they will get eventually get a job.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a resounding success.

Together, we're shaping a promising future for our youth!
