Success on GCSE Results Day 2019
OUTSTANDING GCSE RESULTS
Once again the Courtyard is celebrating a year of academic success in the GCSE examinations.
Over 80% of pupils have achieved the benchmark 4+ (the old C grade) in English and mathematics.
Other GCSE subjects studied include Statistics, Computer Science and Biology. Pupils achieved 100% pass rate in these subjects.
Headteacher, Deborah Shepherd, said
’I am incredibly proud of all the pupils who worked so hard to achieve these results. I am also thankful to the dedicated staff team and supportive parents who make it happen. To have so many of our pupils achieving success at this level says something about what a remarkable learning environment we have created. The atmosphere at the Courtyard as the pupils opened their envelopes in front of their families was wonderful.'
Bryony Poynor, Chair of Governors, said ‘Such a wonderful achievement. The Governors are very proud of the pupils' achievements, they have been rewarded for their hard work. The results are also a tribute to the hugely dedicated staff at the Courtyard who have nurtured and supported our pupils throughout their time at the Courtyard.’
