Activities Week: 15th July - 19th July
Thursday 27 June 2019
Activities Week 15 – 19 July 2019
The Courtyard will be organising an Activities Week for the end of our summer term. It will take place in the last week of term, beginning on Monday 15 July and concluding at 12:30pm on Friday 19 July when The Courtyard will close for the summer holidays.
The purpose of this week is to provide students with an opportunity to socialise with each other in an out of school setting. Students will participate in different activities to explore different interests. This not only leads to a smooth end to the academic year but also provides them with experiences to engage with their peers.
All students are NOT expected to wear their school uniform and should wear comfortable clothing.
All students will need to have a packed lunch every day. If you would like your child to have a school packed lunch (Free school meals only) please contact the school by telephone or email.
Travel costs will be provided by the school. Students are also allowed to bring their own spending money.
Please see below the different activities for the week:
|Monday 15 July||British Museum – Manga Exhibition|
|Tuesday 16 July||Kensington Gardens – Games/Picnic|
|Wednesday 17 July||Soapbox workshop|
|Thursday 18 July||Islington Boat club|
|Friday 19 July||Vue cinema – Toy Story 4/Spiderman|
The cost for activities week will be £25 and needs to be paid by Friday 12 July.
Please note Activities Week is compulsory for all students. Students should arrive to school at the normal time of 8:30am and will be dismissed from The Courtyard at the normal time of 3:30pm (Mon – Thurs, Fri – 12.30pm).
If your child arrives late, we cannot guarantee that they will be able to access the activity as the group may have left the school already. In this case, it will be necessary for your child to remain in school that day and complete activities on site.
If you have any queries or questions about Activities Week please feel free to contact me.
